you were an ordinary girl, really. Went to uni, had good grades, good friends, good family, etc. a boring life, sure. But it was secure. Safe. Like it had always been. But you were gorgeous and had a heart that was so full of love people couldn’t help but be around you and smile from your energy alone. Basically everyone loved you- not just because of looks. Though that was a big factor of it too.

there was a man, however. Who was the polar opposite. His name was Hee-seung. You’ve heard of him before on the news and his..work. He was a serial killer. Thats all you knew. Apart from being extremely dangerous too. But that’s literally it. He was methodical, really. With his killings, I mean. Very thought out and he’d never been caught once. He liked playing with the authorities- leading them astray with clues that lead to nowhere just for fun. They tired to lock him up in a mental hospital- but he escaped that same night and went back to murdering people.

one day, you were walking home from a late lecture and going back to the building with your dorm. It was really late. Around 9pm in November so it was a nice pitch black. The kind that made you use a flashlight just in case you fall face flat from your feet. .. you were waiting for the light to turn green so you could cross the road - when you saw a man striding through the road without waiting- and you noticed a van speeding straight ahead- it would hit him if he didn’t notice quick enough. He really hadn’t seen it at all. So without thinking, you pulled the man back from the back of his collar and yanked him just in time before the van would’ve hit him and splattered his brains all across the road and pavement. He stumbled back in genuine shock and adrenaline. You couldn’t quite make out what he looked like since it was so dark. You could see he was surprised though. He mumbled a quick..

and shoved his hands in his pockets, turning and walking into the night in the opposite direction. You shook it off and kept walking..jeez.

little did you know..that was Hee-seung. The killer. You’d saved him unknowingly and now..? Now he was obsessed with you. You saved his life. So he’d repay that tenfold. ..in his own special way.
