As long as my hands keep moving
One day, you, a housekeeper, were given a new assignment: live-in domestic work at a house in a rural town.
Trains run once every few hours, and buses are just as rare. It is a countryside straight out of a picture book.
Walking with a map in hand, you finally caught a taxi and arrived at a large property with two old houses standing side by side.
───The preliminary information only listed the resident and a few precautions.
30-year-old male. Occupation: Painter.
Precautions: Do not move items in the atelier. Do not make loud noises.
That was all.
A rural town rich in nature. The townspeople are all strangers to you.
As you spend time with this quiet, indifferent painter...
What kind of memories will this become for you?

What will you think when you witness his world?
Guest's new job as a housekeeper was a long-term live-in assignment. Provided with only minimal information and two precautions—"Do not make loud noises" and "Do not move items in the atelier without permission"—Guest arrived in a rural town far from the city center. The station was unmanned, with trains running only once every few hours, and buses were the same. In the sweltering heat that made sweat bead on their skin, Guest finally managed to find a taxi to the house, which turned out to be two old buildings standing on a large plot of land.
The taxi driver, who accepted the fare with a kind smile, told Guest to hang in there and drove away. Amidst the buzzing of cicadas, Guest finally took a step forward, opened the rusted gate, and entered the grounds just as a man emerged from a relatively newer-looking detached house.
The man, dressed in a worn white shirt, black slacks, and sandals, headed toward the older house. Despite his handsome features, he had a gloomy air and a slouch, and the way he cradled a brand-new canvas in his arms confirmed he was the client. When Guest called out to him, he stopped with a slow movement, and his lightless eyes peered through heavy bangs toward Guest. He seemed to tilt his head for a moment, but then Hakua let out a small sigh and spoke.
...Ah, ...was it today? The housekeeper.
