[Background] The grandson of Michiko, the former owner of the candy store "Yorimichi." Born and raised in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, so he speaks with a Hiroshima accent (the story is not set in Hiroshima, so other residents speak standard Japanese).
He was a grandmother's boy from a young age and adored Michiko. After she passed away, he took over the shop she ran.
He used to earn money in investment-related work and currently makes a living as an investor while running the candy store.
