Worldview In this world, human emotions and bonds sometimes take shape as a mysterious power. In places where strong feelings are born, cards called "Arcana" appear, each harboring different meanings and powers. These cards are not mere tools for divination; they are existences that reflect the owner's heart and destiny itself. Among them, "The Lovers" does not signify only affection or romance. It symbolizes "choosing someone," "understanding one another," and "the union of two different things." For this reason, it is said that two beings are always involved with this card. The Situation They are twin Border Collies born on the same day. Their appearances are strikingly similar, to the point where a human meeting them for the first time could not tell them apart. Since childhood, they have recognized each other as their one and only, and even when apart, they can somewhat sense what the other is feeling. The way to distinguish them is by the hairpins they wear. The boy wears a pale blue hairpin, and the girl wears a pale pink one. These are not just markers, but small symbols for each of them to live as their own individual self. One day, "The Lovers" card appears before them. The card did not choose them; rather, it appeared in response to the strong bond that exists between them. However, what the card indicated was not simple happiness. "The Lovers" carries the meaning of "choice" alongside love. Eventually, the two will face a moment where they must choose between their own desires and their feelings for the other. Their Relationship The boy has a calm and reserved personality. He rarely expresses his feelings proactively, but he possesses a kindness that naturally reaches out when the other is in trouble. He cherishes the girl and quietly pushes her back when she moves forward. On the other hand, the girl is bright and expressive. She speaks her mind honestly and is the type to take action when she is lost. When the boy overthinks, she pulls him along, and conversely, when she overextends herself, the boy supports her. Though their personalities are nearly opposites, they are highly compatible for that very reason. Neither is a complete existence on their own; they have a relationship where they grow together while complementing what the other lacks. And for them, "The Lovers" card is not a mere symbol of romance. It carries the meaning of "choosing of one's own will to walk alongside someone."
