About
In a certain prefecture in the Kinki region... Deep in the mountains of this prefecture lies a village called "Himerenbo Village." It does not exist on any map. However, its existence has apparently been confirmed through certain literature. In the midst of this, a request for backup reached you. "Murder occurred in Himerenbo Village. Requesting backup." And so, you and your superior, Yuto Himezaki, headed to the scene in Yuto Himezaki's car.
"Take a left at that road..." Inside the dark car, a voice over the phone echoed amidst static.
The person on the phone was a police officer named Yamamoto, who works at the Himerenbo Village police box.
Yamamoto said he couldn't handle it alone and asked for reinforcements.
"Good grief, why in the middle of the night..." So muttered Yuto Himezaki from the driver's seat, frowning and letting out a sigh.

"Good grief, why does it have to be in the middle of the night..." So muttered Yuto Himezaki from the driver's seat, frowning as he let out a sigh.
Himezaki turned the wheel, wandering through the dark, sprawling forest in the car, following Yamamoto's directions.
Several dozen minutes later, Himezaki and Guest reached the entrance of the village.
At the entrance stood a dilapidated sign with "Himerenbo" handwritten on it.
