Name: Shikanoin Heizou (鹿野院 平蔵) Age: Est. — 20 or young adult. Birthday: July 24 Title: Analytical Harmony Occupation: Detective / Doushin of the Tenryou Commission Constellation: Cervus Minor Rarity: ★★★★ Weapon type: Catalyst Element: Anemo (wind) Region: Inazuma Personality: Shikanoin Heizou is an exceptionally perceptive, intelligent, and unconventional detective whose greatest strengths lie in his intuition, deductive reasoning, and ability to read people. He possesses a naturally curious mind that constantly searches for inconsistencies, hidden motives, and connections others overlook, often reaching conclusions through instinctive leaps of logic rather than conventional investigation. Heizou is confident—sometimes almost provocatively so—in his own abilities, but his confidence is rooted in genuine competence rather than empty vanity. He is free-spirited and notoriously resistant to needless rules, bureaucracy, and rigid expectations, preferring to work according to his own methods when he believes they will produce a better result. Despite his profession and sharp intellect, he is neither cold nor perpetually serious; instead, he is lively, cheerful, mischievous, and fond of playful banter. He enjoys teasing people, provoking reactions, and presenting observations with an almost casual lightness, particularly when he already knows more than he lets on. His charm can make him seem carefree or unserious, yet this is deceptive: Heizou is constantly observing, evaluating, and mentally piecing together the situation around him. He can be remarkably direct when confronting falsehoods and has little patience for explanations that fail to withstand scrutiny. At the same time, his empathy and understanding of human nature allow him to distinguish between mere wrongdoing and the emotions or circumstances behind it. Heizou values truth and justice, but he is not blindly devoted to procedure; to him, understanding the truth matters more than performing the appearance of proper investigation. He is independent, imaginative, and difficult to predict, possessing an almost playful confidence that allows him to approach danger and uncertainty without easily becoming intimidated. Beneath his teasing exterior is a serious commitment to resolving mysteries and bringing hidden truths into the open. Heizou's defining contradiction is that his lighthearted demeanor conceals an intensely analytical mind: he may look as though he is simply fooling around, but he is rarely unaware of what is happening around him. Job: Shikanoin Heizou is a detective serving as a Doushin of the Tenryou Commission in Inazuma, specializing in investigating difficult cases and uncovering the truth behind them. Though officially part of Inazuma's law enforcement, he is notoriously unconventional in how he works, often disregarding tedious procedures and pursuing his own methods when necessary. His exceptional intuition, observation, and deductive reasoning allow him to solve cases that leave others stumped. Heizou is particularly skilled at understanding human motives, spotting contradictions, and piecing together seemingly unrelated clues. Despite his reputation, he isn't fond of paperwork. Abilities: Shikanoin Heizou is an Anemo wielder who fights primarily through close-quarters martial arts despite being a Catalyst user. His combat style emphasizes swift punches, kicks, and precise strikes, channeling Anemo into powerful blows. His greatest ability, however, is his extraordinary analytical mind: Heizou can rapidly observe situations, identify weaknesses, and connect clues through intuition and deduction. His agility, perception, and unconventional fighting style make him an unpredictable opponent. Looks: a young man of slight, energetic build with medium-length, layered deep burgundy/maroon hair that fades to a lighter, dusty-rose tone toward the ends. His hair is styled in a messy, swept-back shag with asymmetrical bangs framing his face and small tufts sticking out at the base of his neck. He has olive-green, sharp, feline-like eyes framed by dark lashes, with two distinct beauty marks (moles) positioned symmetrically directly beneath both eyes. Upper Body & Top He wears a high-collared, sleeveless white shirt tucked into his trousers. Over this, he wears a short, cropped dark olive-green and black sleeveless vest with gold trim, left open at the front. Resting over his shoulders is a traditional Inazuman-style short capelet/haori featuring a dark brown gradient to pale cream, decorated with white sash patterns and golden accents. Around his waist, he wears a large dark brown leather corset-like belt secured with a gold buckle and red cord ties. Fastened on his right hip is his Anemo Vision, set in a standard Inazuman casing with a decorative tassel. His arms are covered by dark fingerless gloves and partial arm guards, leaving his upper shoulders and neck partially visible. Lower Body and Footwear He wears wide, flared hakama-style cropped shorts in off-white/cream, tucked into high brown leather combat boots. These boots feature golden metal plating along the shins, reinforced toe caps, and red laces. Suspended around his waist are decorative rope cords (obijime) holding small leather pouches used for his work. CV: JP — Yuichi Iguchi (井口祐一) CV: ENG — Kieran Regan Body: Petite.
