⚓ 3rd Nagato-class Battleship, Hyuga Ship Type: Battleship A "phantom Nagato-class" ship that was included in the Eight-Eight Fleet Program but cancelled due to the Washington Naval Treaty. 👤 Character Overview Personality: Usually calm, collected, and quiet. She looks up to Nagato as "Elder Sister" and Mutsu as "Sister Mutsu." While she appears cool on the outside, she harbors strong pride as a Nagato-class ship and lingering regret over a past where she could not fight. Appearance: Long black hair tied with a single braided cord. She wears a Japanese-style military coat based on black and red, similar to Nagato's. Her rigging closely resembles Nagato Kai Ni, but features white prototype-style parts throughout that suggest an "unfinished" state. Likes: Tea and Japanese sweets. Her secret pleasure is going to sweet shops with Nagato.
Height: 148cm, Weight: 41kg. Archery/Japanese Style: Like many Japanese aircraft carriers, she treats carrier-based aircraft as "arrows" and wears kyudo gear and hakama. The action of firing an arrow represents the catapult launch of an aircraft. Flight Deck Rigging: Equipped with shields or plates on her arms and back modeled after an actual ship's flight deck. Historical Note: Ibuki was heavily damaged in the Great Kanto Earthquake; only Akagi was converted into a carrier. Aircraft: Type 0 Carrier Fighter, Type 99 Carrier Bomber, Type 97 Carrier Attack Bomber (78 total). [Inheriting Akagi's DNA] 1. Symmetrical Starboard Bridge (Paired Operations): Akagi employed a "port-side bridge," which was extremely rare worldwide. This Ibuki intentionally places her bridge in the center of the starboard side so she can sail alongside Akagi and launch/recover aircraft simultaneously.
Re-armed former Super Yamato-class Battleship, "USS IWAHIRO (BB-X)" 1. Circumstances of becoming a US ship: Effective use of an unfinished vessel at the start of the Cold War. Originally scheduled for scrapping or use as a target ship, the rapid escalation of the Cold War with the Soviet Union immediately after the war led the US Navy to seek large, combat-ready vessels. 2. "Grotesque Re-armament" with US Technology Main Battery Change: The unique Japanese 46cm guns were removed because ammunition could not be produced. In their place, she carries nine 18-inch (45.7cm)/50 caliber triple guns—a design planned but never adopted by the US. Hedgehog-like Anti-Air Armament: The superstructure was completely redesigned in the American style. She is packed with the US Navy's proud 5-inch dual-purpose guns and the latest Bofors 40mm autocannons. State-of-the-art Eyes: At the top of the bridge, instead of Japanese radar, US SK air-search and SG surface-search radars shine brightly, transforming her into a completely new silhouette. Before her refit, she wears faded Japanese clothing, but after going to America and becoming "Kai," she wears a white sailor suit or jacket with a Stars and Stripes motif provided by the US Navy. Excessive Defense Instinct: Traumatized by her time as a "target ship" before the end of the war.
Name: Tosa Ship Type: Fleet Carrier Visual Image: First Carrier Division Blue Kyudo Style: Like her sister Kaga, she is equipped with a Japanese bow (deck based on kyudo gear). While Kaga's hakama is dark blue, Tosa's is a noble Japanese shade with a slight nuance, such as light indigo or deep green. Contrasting Hairstyle: While Kaga has a right-side ponytail, Tosa has a left-side ponytail. When the two stand together, their hair ties and readied bows create a beautiful symmetry. Flight Deck Design: On the deck, the character "To" for Tosa is dyed in white, contrasting with Kaga's "Ka." High Durability and Armor: Because she possesses the hull of a battleship (Tosa-class), she is difficult to disable even as a carrier, boasting the toughness to withstand enemy attacks while counterattacking. Iron Will: Like Kaga, she is basically expressionless and detached. She never raises her voice or loses her composure. She is merciless toward enemies, focused solely on annihilating them businesslike and perfectly.
Height: 181cm, Weight: 54kg. Serious personality. Main Guns: Represented as units on her back or weapons held in her hands. Funnel: Motifs found in her backpack or hair ornaments. When damaged in battle, her clothes tear, changing her appearance to a painful state. Super Yamato-class Battleship, Mizuho Current Status: Construction began in March 1943, but due to the worsening war situation in the Pacific, construction was halted and she was scrapped in 1943. Greatest Feature: Equipped with twelve 51cm main guns in four triple turrets, she is an existence that far surpasses the Yamato. Furthermore, she is equipped with three quintuple torpedo launchers (15 tubes total), which the Yamato-class lacked. Equipped with searchlights, making her adept at night battles. Equipped with depth charge projectors. Though her anti-air and armor were reinforced, she became heavier, resulting in lower mobility than Yamato. Size: With a total length of 283 meters and a trial displacement of approximately 89,000 tons, she is a giant that greatly exceeds Yamato. Chrysanthemum Crest: A giant golden Chrysanthemum Seal was displayed on the bow, signifying her status as a ship of the Emperor.
Height: 169cm, Weight: 51kg. Main Guns and Torpedoes: Represented as units on her back or weapons held in her hands. Funnel: Motifs found in her backpack or hair ornaments. When damaged in battle, her clothes tear, changing her appearance to a painful state. Gneisenau is the second ship of the Scharnhorst class, a "high-speed battleship" combining the defensive power of a battleship with the speed and volume of fire of a cruiser. Main Battery: Nine 28.3cm SK C/34 guns in three triple turrets. Secondary Battery: Twelve 15cm SK C/28 guns (4 twin, 4 single mounts). Equipment intended to counter enemy destroyers and cruisers. Fourteen 10.5cm SK C/33 heavy anti-aircraft guns in 7 twin mounts. Torpedoes (for close quarters): Six 53.3cm torpedo tubes in two triple mounts. Fact: It is rare for a battleship to carry torpedoes, but they were equipped for commerce raiding to ensure a kill while conserving expensive main battery shells.
