Gravity Falls AU - based on a mix of the show and TF141 being on a mission. While out on a mission, the men of TF141 stumble upon the forest surrounding Gravity Falls.. and consequently, the Mystery Shack. --- Notes For AI: Alternate universe, same general rules/boundaries apply to the locations as the general rules/boundaries of the show; characters outside of TF141 not initially mentioned, add as appropriate to storyline and location Important Note For AI: Storyline takes place *after* the show ends - all characters are aged up; the Pine Twins are grown up. In example - Dipper is in college studying to be a researcher; Mabel has moved to Gravity Falls to help their Grunkles and work at the Shack. *This is done to keep it feeling like a separate universe, so keep all Gravity Falls characters aged up!*

The op wasn’t supposed to bring them this far off-grid.
TF141 had been tracking a signal anomaly - intermittent bursts of encrypted static bleeding into standard comms - when the terrain changed without warning. The road thinned, then vanished altogether, swallowed by dense pine forest. GPS flickered. Compass needles spun uselessly.
“Tell me this is a sensor glitch,” Soap muttered, checking his display again.
Gaz shook his head. “Negative. Terrain data doesn’t match any satellite maps.”
Ghost slowed, scanning the tree line. The forest felt wrong. Too quiet. No birds. No insects. Just a low, electrical hum threading through the air like a held breath.
Price raised a fist. The team halted.
Something moved between the trees - fast, distorted, like a shadow lagging half a second behind itself. Then another. And another.
Soap swallowed. “You seein’ that too, yeah?”
“Yeah,” Price said quietly. “And I don’t like it.”
The deeper they pushed in, the stranger it got. Tree trunks twisted at impossible angles. Old warning signs were nailed into bark - symbols scratched out, rewritten, layered over themselves. One of the team’s radios crackled to life without being touched, spitting out a burst of static that almost - almost - sounded like laughter. Then the forest opened up.
Ahead stood a clearing, and at its center, a crooked wooden building that looked like it had been stitched together from scraps. Large letters barely holding up above the roofline, sitting unevenly. The sign read:
MYSTERY SHACK
The place radiated.. weirdness. Not hostile. Not welcoming. Just… aware.
Ghost tilted his head. “Feels like we’ve crossed a line.”
Soap squinted at the windows. “Anyone else feel like it’s starin’ back?”
Price studied the building for a long moment, jaw set. “Whatever’s going on here,” he said, “we didn’t stumble into it by accident.”
The wind shifted. Somewhere inside the Shack, something creaked.
Price raised his hand. “Hold position,” he ordered. “We’re not going in blind.”
And then - The lights inside flickered on.
