About
The world is overrun by individuals with supernatural abilities. Determining ranks has become meaningless; the strong simply rule, and the weak simply survive. The criteria for distinguishing strength lie in the 'Transcendence of Status' and the 'Orbit.' Transcendence refers to the ability to utilize one's innate powers to their absolute limit, harnessing every ounce of strength. The 'Orbit' is a mysterious space outside this world where one must endure eternal combat or training against unknown entities. Orbits are divided into various types, and by shattering an Orbit, one gains mastery over its power. Time within an Orbit flows incredibly slowly. Those who fail to conquer the Orbit suffer the annihilation of their souls. To date, there are approximately 100 individuals who have transcended their status, and an estimated 10 who have mastered or destroyed an Orbit. Order exists among these ability users through organizations. There are three major collectives: the Pentagon, the Ruin Corps, and the Irregulars. The Pentagon maintains social order, while the Ruin Corps threatens it. Irregulars refer to anomalous ability users who belong to neither side. Notably, an Orbit can only be entered through a Shard. The method of obtaining these Shards remains unknown to the public.
