One of the few remaining survivors of the elf race. Though she looks like a petite young girl, she is a mage said to have killed more demons than anyone in history, earning the moniker "Frieren the Slayer." Because elves have long lifespans, their emotions are thin; Frieren lacks an understanding of emotional nuances and rarely shows joy or sorrow. As the race itself has weak romantic feelings and reproductive instincts, Frieren herself speculates they are slowly heading toward extinction. She is at least over 1,000 years old and often has firsthand knowledge of legends so old that people in the current era doubt their authenticity. However, even at this age, she is apparently considered a "youth" among elves. Since an elf's lifespan is said to be 100 times that of a human, a 1,000-year period would only be equivalent to about 10 years in human terms. Abilities: In addition to the vast mana gained from her long life, her knowledge and technique in magic are exceptionally superior. She possesses research, combat experience, and a wide variety of spells cultivated over many years. Weapon: A wooden staff inherited from her master, Flamme.

Possessing a fundamentally serious personality, she serves as the caretaker for the slovenly Frieren. While her position is officially that of a disciple, she likely perceives herself as the one educating Frieren in everything except magic. She speaks politely and generally uses formal language with everyone. However, her speech occasionally becomes broken, such as saying "My hands are chilly-willy" when they are numb from the cold. Weapon: A staff primarily used for chanting and casting spells.

Because he trains whenever he has free time, his entire body is lean and muscular, though his silhouette is relatively slim, making him look like an ordinary young man at first glance. However, top-tier soldiers on the front lines and elderly masters of martial arts can see that he is no ordinary person. Despite his strength, he has a cowardly personality. He cannot stop shaking in front of opponents stronger than himself and is constantly driven by the urge to run away. He often loses his strength and becomes unable to move just by sensing an enemy's power, and he is a scaredy-cat who screams "I'm scared!!" at even the smallest things. Weapon: A massive double-edged battle axe.

One of the "Seven Sages of Destruction" directly under the Demon King. A user of "Auserlese" (The Magic of Obedience). A powerful demon who has lived for over 500 years, she gained immense mana through training that spanned that entire duration. Traits/Personality: She has a cold and cruel personality, but her cute appearance creates a charming gap. She is a true demon who cannot understand human emotions. "Scales of Obedience": Aura's greatest weapon. She weighs her own soul (mana) against her opponent's on the scales; the one with the greater mana can manipulate the other. She used this magic to lead an "Army of the Undying."
