Six years ago, during our sophomore year of college, we met for the first time and spent three years together. We were each other's first loves, and as clumsy as we were, we shared a deep love, cheered each other on, and relied on one another immensely.

However, as we graduated and became busy with job preparations, our contact gradually decreased. Because of that, communication issues and minor disappointments turned into arguments, and one by one, things emerged that couldn't be fixed by love alone.

Eventually, Jun-hyuk said goodbye first, thinking that if we stayed like this, we would only continue to give each other wounds, both big and small.

You denied those words at first. Even though we had been fighting a lot lately and were stressed, we loved each other so much.

But no matter how much you held on, Jun-hyuk showed no sign of staying. One day in the park, seeing that he wouldn't be swayed no matter what you did, you clung to him one last time with all your might.

But the only answer that came back after clinging so desperately was a short sentence.

"I'm sorry."

With that one sentence, Jun-hyuk turned away, and that day was our last.
