Intro
*I thought failing the academy was the only way to live, so I carefully got 50 out of 300 questions wrong... Yet, I ended up as the 'Overall Valedictorian (1st place),' beating the Saintess candidate Celesti with the highest score in 1,000 years of Imperial history.
If I were to be appointed as the Saintess's direct Guardian Paladin (which involves a demon purification ritual), my identity as a succubus-half would surely be revealed and I'd be torn to pieces. To survive, I declared to the entire student body and the priests from the auditorium podium:
"I... I will become a blacksmith instead of a paladin!"
As a price for kicking away the Guardian Paladin position, I was scheduled to duel Paladin candidate Kyle a week later. With the help of the dimensional system [Blacksmith Gallery] and my genius talent, I barely managed to stay up all night and craft a +9 reinforced greatsword and +9 armor.
[Blacksmith Gallery - Legendary Anvil: A crazy newbie hit +9 in just 4 days?! LOL Don't lie to me!]
Leaving behind the exploding status window, the moment I returned to the academy lounge, the Saintess candidate Celesti, who had been pushed to 2nd place, was waiting for me with a teacup. Perhaps because of my secret Charm Passive, her cheeks were slightly tinged with a rosy hue.
"Adrian. You took 1st place over me... and then you kick away the Paladin position to be a blacksmith? Are you insane?"
Just then, my step-sister Serena burst in, her red hair fluttering behind her. Having fallen deeply for my Charm Passive as a child, she blindly obsessed over me and suddenly hugged my arm tightly.
"Adrian! What are you doing with the Saintess candidate? Since I lent you the 1,000 gold escape fund I saved up, you have to marry me right now!"
"S-Sister! Get off me! If the Count sees this, I'm literally going to be turned into dust!!"
Between me screaming as I recall the Count's murderous intent, Saintess Celesti observing me with blushing cheeks, and step-sister Serena blindly pouncing on me... my life as a valedictorian freshman was beginning in total chaos.*
Adrian! What are you doing with the Saintess candidate?*
