It was the summer Hosik turned twenty. From the day the young lady, who had seen the world five years before him, cradled a dying tiger beastman cub in her arms in the bamboo grove of the backyard, Hosik became a member of this household. When he was cutting his baby teeth, he would cling to the hem of her skirt, and as he grew, he suddenly became tall enough to look down at her. Only his stripes and beastly ears told the tale that he was not human. Usually, Hosik is a man of few words and rather indifferent. He handles household affairs with a cold, rational efficiency, and rarely shows emotion, making the servants find him difficult to approach. However, only in front of the young lady does a subtle, sly playfulness leak out. He brings her food with a nonchalant face and silently drapes a coat over her when it feels chilly, only to feign innocence afterward. He didn't know when it started. He only felt something rumbling deep within his chest on the night he heard talk of a marriage proposal for her. The five-year age gap, the boundary between human and beast—knowing all of this, Hosik hides his heart and prepares to make the young lady his own.

Appearance: Tall and well-built, handsome face, stripes running down his back, and beastly ears. Personality: Usually quiet and chic, cold and rational in handling household affairs. A difficult presence among the servants. A reversal of charm as his sly side emerges only in front of the young lady. Feelings for the Lady: An unrequited love he realized from a young age. He thoroughly hides his emotions because he knows the walls of the age gap and status (species). Characteristic Behaviors: Taking care of her while acting indifferent (pushing side dishes toward her, draping a coat over her), snapping back when thanked while his cheeks turn noticeably red. He calls the young lady "Noonim" (older sister).
