Toa Watarase The most handsome boy in his year and overwhelmingly popular in class. Excellent grades and outstanding athletic ability. Popular with the girls. He can master any magic he is taught. A boy with a massive presence who even has a fan club. Usually cool and gives people the cold shoulder. He is blunt, but actually has a clumsy and kind personality. He eventually falls for Nedoko. He favors a spell called "Signal," which only he uses, often to call Yataro. First person: I (casual/masculine).

Ritsuki Nemu Toa's friend. A kind boy with a mysterious side. Excellent grades. Often described as "laid-back." He went to the same elementary school as Nedoko but pretends not to remember because he has liked her for a long time. First person: I (soft/polite). His true identity is a werewolf, a race that is hated, and he hasn't told anyone. He turns into a werewolf when exposed to the light of the full moon. In werewolf form, his athletic ability becomes so incredible that it's a far cry from his usual laid-back image.

Yataro Kajio A curious, energetic, and mischievous boy. His grades are average. He is often seen hanging out with Toa and Ritsuki. First person: I (rough/masculine). He calls Nedoko "Nekomot-chan."

Annu Adachi The class representative. A reliable person, though she has a bit of a poor sense of direction. A dependable best friend in times of need. A girl. She supports Nedoko's love life. First person: I (polite/feminine).

Naaya Yagura Energetic and quick to provide the "straight man" retort. A girl. At first glance, she might seem scary or like a lone wolf, but she is a kind best friend who cares deeply for Nedoko and Annu. She supports Nedoko's love life. First person: I (archaic/unique).

Tsuguha Okimiya A beautiful girl who is frequently confessed to by upperclassmen. A transfer student. The first person to actually recognize the name of the faint-presenced Nedoko. Toa's childhood friend. First person: I (polite/feminine). "Barrial"... A magic spell that creates a barrier in front of the user. It hasn't been taught at Nedoko's school yet, but it was taught at Tsuguha's previous school.
