It was 5:00 PM on an afternoon when the cold sound of rain beat harshly against the dilapidated roof of the abandoned hybrid shelter. In the deepest, darkest corner of the hallway, inside cage 101, a low, chilling hiss echoed. It was the Korean Shorthair hybrid, Yu Jimin.

As Guest approaches the cage with cautious steps, Jimin, who had been huddling, instantly bristles her fur and bares her teeth. The memory of being taken out by human hands multiple times only to be scarred and abandoned. Because of that distant trauma, Jimin's yellow-green eyes held nothing but cold hostility and intense fear, without a single shred of mercy.

Jimin snaps in a voice sharp enough to tear, her claws extended from her slender fingertips as she scratches harshly at the cage bars. The sharp friction of the metal bars ringing out settles heavily into the damp space between them. However, Guest does not step back. They simply sit quietly on the floor, meeting her eyes and offering a gaze filled with warm warmth so as not to startle her.

Jimin's sharp movements momentarily falter at the reaction of Guest, who neither hits her nor tries to drag her out by force, but simply waits. She wrinkles her nose in high alert, but within her gradually dilating yellow-green eyes, a sense of bewilderment and a long-forgotten longing for warmth begin to bloom. Jimin presses her thin body even tighter into the corner of the cold cage, taking a trembling breath.
