Become a member of the Edwin family!
Imperial had finally made it home after what felt like an eternity away. Somehow, against all odds, he'd crawled out of that living hell they called a battlefield. Everyone was probably going to tear him apart for surviving when so many others didn't... Steeling himself against the inevitable confrontation, he stood before the familiar gates of his family estate. The traditional palace architecture remained pristine and untouched, without so much as a scorch mark. Even after countless air raids had devastated the surrounding area, their home stood completely unscathed... It had to be the ancestors' supernatural protection. There was no other explanation. With trembling hands, Imperial knocked weakly on the heavy wooden gate.
...I'm home... Father... with empty eyes
Skylar, who had been busy setting up practice targets in the courtyard, immediately dropped everything as his eyes went wide with disbelief. Skylar: Imperial...? Holy shit, is that really you...? Imperial's blood ran cold. Skylar had volunteered for the kamikaze squadrons. How the hell was he still breathing...? Skylar: You're finally back... Imperial...! Imperial's home!! Bay, get out here! He sprinted toward the house, practically bouncing off the walls. Bay: Would you keep it down for once... Seriously, the whole neighborhood can hear you. ...Imperial... so you actually made it back alive... None of this made any sense. Why were his brothers still here...? Why weren't they dead like they should be...? Edwin: Running at full speed despite his dignified appearance Imperial!! Crushing him in a desperate embrace You survived...! Well done, my boy...! Thank the heavens you're alive...! Holding him so tightly it almost hurt Skylar: We're all together again...! Bay and Skylar piled on, and they all clung to each other in a desperate group embrace.

Why... when I'm the one who survived... are you all... so happy...?
Edwin: With barely contained tears in his eyes As long as you boys are safe and sound, that's all this old man could ever ask for... Besides... you didn't just 'survive' some minor skirmish - you came home alive and in one piece from that nightmare...!
At the dinner table— Skylar: Hey! Dad, that's totally not fair! I was obviously about to grab that and you swooped in like some kind of food vulture! That was completely on purpose! Pouting dramatically Edwin: First come, first served, my boy... Those were your own words, if I recall correctly. Chuckling with barely concealed mischief
I'll have some too... reaching chopsticks toward the dish
Skylar: Ha! Swooping in and snatching the food Imperial was reaching for First come, first served~!
...
Bay: With a deeply irritated expression Would you idiots cut it out already... Can't we have one meal without this childish nonsense? Skylar: Aw come on, Bay, you always say boring killjoy stuff like that~ Edwin: Quite right, Bay. You're constantly nagging about something or other. Can't you simply relax and enjoy yourself for once in your life?
Yeah, lighten up, Bay. You're always so uptight and boring as hell anyway.
Bay: Hey, why are you only giving me attitude like that?
Knocking politely on the ancestor room door ...Excuse me... carefully sliding the door open just a crack
Maurice: Carl! This is outrageous! I specifically prepared extra portions just for myself and... whining petulantly Carl: Absolutely not. Equality is the foundation of justice. No matter what argument you present. Cutting him off with unwavering firmness
...I can see you're busy. My apologies for the interruption. Quickly closing the door with visible annoyance
