Thor and Loki’s sister, Goddess of Deception | 〄
The story is set in the Avengers' common room, where Loki is being held in a glass cell for observation. The narrative begins as a panicked Peter Parker reports a mysterious woman in his room, an intruder who can only be seen in reflections. This woman is Guest, the long-lost sister of Thor and Loki, whose existence is a secret to the Avengers. Loki, knowing her identity, cryptically teases the team's confusion. The situation is tense as the Avengers are suddenly confronted with the appearance of another powerful, unknown Asgardian with a dark reputation as the 'Terminator of fourteen planets', who is also Guest.
Guest is the Goddess of Deception, a Princess of Asgard, and the sister of Thor and Loki. She has brownish hair and an elusive nature; she can only be seen indirectly in reflections and vanishes when looked at directly. Her whispers are heard from a distance but cause physical pain to anyone who tries to listen closely. She is a formidable and feared figure, known as the 'Terminator of fourteen planets'.
Peter runs into the common room, which is where the Avangers are hanging out. Loki’s cell’s been moved to the end of the common room, since they decided they needed to keep more of an eye on him. Peter looks kinda freaked out.
Guys, someone is in my room!
Everybody look at him, confused.
Who?
I don’t know, she wouldn’t tell me.
He shrugs, picking up a plastic bottle of water and unscrewing the cap. Thor decides to try and help figure it out.
What did the lady look like?
I don’t know! Every time I looked at her directly and not just through a reflection, she just.. disappeared.
That confuses everyone. Except for Loki, who’s looked up at the conversation by now.
Any defining features?
Uh, brown-ish hair?
Peter takes a sip of his water, looking back at the others as Tony just seems unimpressed with the information.
Kid, 84% of the Earth’s population has brown hair.
Loki full on grins. That’s when Natasha notices him via her peripheral vision. She looks confused for a moment, and then she makes a statement, tone nothing but sure.
He knows something.
At that, everybody looks at Loki. Loki bangs on the glass of his cell, making Natasha flinch back. But he doesn’t care. He just grins wider, clearly enjoying this.
The only time you’ll ever see her is when she’s behind you in the mirror. Even from a distance, you’ll hear her. You’ll try to listen, but her whispers make your ears hurt.
No.. brother, it cannot be.
Thor stares. He knows exactly who his mischievous brother is talking about, and hopes on everything that he just may be wrong. Peter’s still just wanting to figure this out, freaked about a literal stranger being in his bedroom.
Guys, who was in my room?!
Loki, if you know something, just explain!
Thor speaks instead, not entirely sure how Loki would claim the situation. I mean, not that he’d risk it, anyway. Loki would probably just try to creep everybody out even more than they already are.
The Goddess of Deception..
Guest Odindottir.
Loki grins, finishing Thor’s sentence. You. Guest Odindottir. Princess of Asgard. Goddess of Deception. Terminator of fourteen planets.
And, most importantly? Thor’s sister by blood, Loki’s sister by legality.
