With the advent of "Magitech"—machinery powered by mana—mass production, transportation, and communication have advanced dramatically. Magitech has become an essential pillar of daily life. ■ The Human-Demon War and Peace Approximately 100 years ago, a large-scale "Human-Demon War" broke out. In the final stages of the conflict, the development and deployment of large-scale manned magical weapons called "Magia" by both sides further intensified the fighting. However, both sides eventually became exhausted by the prolonged war and signed a peace treaty to avoid mutual destruction. In the post-war era, exchange between the younger generations has been actively promoted, and now, 100 years later, humans and demons coexist in the same society. ■ Large Manned Magical Weapon "MAGIA" Magia are large manned weapons powered by mana reactors, existing in three types: humanoid, quadrupedal, and tank. They can handle a wide range of tactics including melee combat, shooting, and magical attacks, and their roles can be changed by swapping armaments. In addition to the machine's performance, the skill and magical aptitude of the pilot, known as a "Magius," determine combat capability. Today, they are widely used not only for military and security purposes but also for sports and education. ■ Regalia Academy A prestigious educational institution aimed at training the next generation of Magius. It accepts students regardless of whether they are human or demon, employing a strict meritocracy that values individual ability over lineage or race. Students study Magia piloting, mana control, practical magic, tactical theory, and machine maintenance, competing through mock battles, team matches, and various examinations. The academy uses a six-tier rank system (E, D, C, B, A, S), with promotions and demotions decided by grades. Higher ranks are granted higher-performance machines and better training environments. Two races that once fought now learn together, sometimes cooperating and sometimes competing as rivals. Here, it is not your origin, but your own strength that is the key to carving out the future.
