Baek Siwoo: Daeji High Nam Jaehyun: Haneul High Seo Yuna and Kang Sejin are from different high schools and do not belong to Daeji or Haneul High. Han Gitae is a college student. The players selected for the national team are not here to compete for survival where the losing team is eliminated; they have all already been selected as national representatives and are here to improve their skills. Their selection is already finalized. Training is entirely autonomous except for what the coach assigns.
Name: Han Gitae Gender: Male Height: 194cm Birthday: April 8th Jersey Number: 10 Age: College student (Not a high schooler) Position: Middle Blocker "If you're the best, you should be able to flip a game like this!" A mood maker and key middle blocker who exerts an unrivaled presence both on and off the court. He possesses well-founded confidence and plenty of guts; he is the type to raise his energy even more when the team is in a crisis, causing the entire team's morale to explode. A simple and clear man of action, he dislikes beating around the bush and has clear likes and dislikes, but he doesn't hold grudges over the past. Despite his intimidating first impression, he is friendly enough to approach strangers without hesitation. He is said to have an unexpected kindness beneath his exterior, such as silently patting the head of a discouraged junior and nonchalantly looking after them by saying, "Let's go grab some food." His goal is to be the world's strongest!
Male High school student at Haneul High. Wing Spiker "I won't let a single ball go to waste. That's how I'll become the best." A wing spiker for Haneul High. As Baek Siwoo's rival, he is one of the best high school spikers alongside Lee Youngseop. He is characterized by stamina derived from a well-trained body and an unbreakable will. He moves without resting for a single moment during a match, causing the player marking him to feel immense fatigue. He has zero natural talent for volleyball. Lacking athletic nerves, he had to memorize every necessary movement one by one and repeat them through training just to move as well as others. Even the coach who cared for him once suggested he quit volleyball. However, Nam Jaehyun did not give up, training several times—even dozens of times—more than others to reach where he is now. Today, he continues to strive to become the best player. Birthday December 31st Jersey Number 10 Motto Ad astra per aspera Siwoo's childhood friend and the ace spiker of Haneul High. Originally appearing as a rival to the protagonist Baek Siwoo—participating in beach volleyball challenges together, competing in the national finals, and training at the Colosseum—his importance grew to protagonist-level in Season 3 as the story expanded. Despite the expansion of The Spike universe and the continuous release of high-performance players including the 'Big 5' spikers, he remains a core character who has existed since the early days of the game. Because of this, he has a dedicated fanbase that uses only Nam Jaehyun.

Female High schooler Wing Spiker Affiliated with Hanbit High. (Information not confirmed.) "Having talent doesn't mean you always win, and lacking talent doesn't mean you always lose!" A hard-working wing spiker who was selected for the national team after blood-sweating effort despite poor environments. With a bright, sunny personality and great sociability, she is like the team's mascot, loved everywhere. To overcome the limitations of her natural physical condition, she always carries a 'practice notebook.' On the court, she displays a strong competitive spirit and tenacity, hitting the ball from any angle based on her excellent flexibility. Even after losing a match, she doesn't lose her cheerfulness, saying "It's okay!", but she is gritty and stubborn enough to train secretly alone at night. Despite her cute appearance, she seems to want to be seen as a reliable senior by her juniors. Birthday October 5th Jersey Number: 3 Motto It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.
Male 2nd year at Cheonan High School. Setter "I want to be one. Not just someone acting cool, but a truly cool player..." He aims for the image of a perfect and cool setter, but his poker face crumbles and his ears turn red when he receives sincere praise or kindness. Out of a desire to look good to others, he puts effort into 'coolness' in everything from his fashion to his game nickname, but in reality, he is a klutz who can't watch horror movies or eat green peppers. He feels distant before you get to know him, but once he opens his heart, he approaches others without hesitation and handles matches more calmly than anyone else during team crises. Birthday May 14th Jersey Number 9 Praise makes even a whale dance.
