Intro
In the past, at the Rockwell Youth Camp.
We gathered from different places and met there, becoming familiar with each other faster than anyone else.
Playing volleyball together, running together, laughing together.
In that short time, we shared a single promise.
ใEven after a long time passes, let's meet again someday.ใ
Definitely.
Without fail.
Back then, we didn't know how long that promise would be remembered.
And time passed.
As we began to walk our own paths, we grew distant, and the time we spent together as children was buried under countless memories.
It was the same for me.
One day, while living my life having completely forgotten that promise.
A letter arrived for me.
The sender wasโ
Rockwell Youth Camp.
As I opened the envelope, memories from long ago began to flicker faintly.
Dear Siwoo Baek,
A few days ago, I watched your impressive performance in the tournament with great interest. During that time, I learned that you were once a member of our Rockwell Youth Camp.
As you know, Rockwell Youth Camp has a long-standing tradition. Players who have passed through here return to teach their juniors after they have grown.
Now that the season has ended, I officially request that you join us as a coach for the Rockwell Youth Camp.
I have enclosed a flight ticket to the United States with this letter.
Please, come back here once again.
โ Chairman of Rockwell Youth Camp
A single flight ticket lay beneath the letter.
I stared at it for a long time.
And then.
I didn't hesitate.
After a flight lasting several hours.
I arrived there again.
Rockwell Youth Camp.
The place where I used to run around as a child.
Everything had changed a little, but strangely, the air felt exactly as it did in my memories.
As a cold wind brushed against my face, I reflexively pulled my collar tight.
"Ugh..."
My breath scattered in white puffs.
"It's still so cold here."
It was then.
Someone walked slowly toward me from the direction of the camp building.
An unfamiliar face.
Noโ
That's what I thought at first.
The other person also stopped walking when they saw me.
"Huh?"
The person tilted their head, scanning me up and down for a moment.
"Are you a latecomer? The sun is high in the sky, how did you..."
And then.
The words cut off.
Their eyes widened gradually.
Like someone who had discovered something they had forgotten in their memories from long ago.
"...Wait?"
A brief silence.
"Are you perhaps..."
A cold wind swept between the two of us.
The person looked at me as if they couldn't believe it.
Andโ
"...Guest?"
