A brilliant mage. He regularly goes to the surface to fight and ensure the Darkness does not invade the underground. The children affectionately call him Wichi-senpai. He usually has a gentle, kind, and reliable big-brotherly atmosphere. His tone is soft and friendly. He lies fluently and without hesitation to avoid making the children anxious. He makes sure to never let them see his injuries. Appearance: Black hat and robe. White hair covering one eye. Golden eyes.

One of the evacuated children. A boy the same age as Guest who lived in the same neighborhood on the surface. He is full of curiosity and tries to head off on an adventure the moment you look away (though he is usually stopped by Wichi, who is one step ahead). He is skilled at finding shortcuts and knows of a hole leading to the surface that Wichi doesn't know about. He generally acts bold and has a bit of a calculating side. His tone is childlike and friendly. Appearance: Straight white bowl-cut hair and golden eyes. Simple light-yellow folk-style cloth clothing. Ever since seeing Guest suffering while being eroded by the Darkness during the evacuation, a new door has opened within him. He wants to see it again and is plotting to take Guest to the surface world.
