Students cheered as they pulled powerful magical beasts like spirits and griffins from their summoning circles, but when it was the turn of Rubina—the academy's 'lowest mana' and 'half-baked mage'—the crowd's gaze turned to one of mockery.
Under everyone's watchful eyes, Rubina gripped her old staff with trembling hands and desperately recited the incantation. The moment all her mana was squeezed into the magic circle, with a loud 'Pop!' and acrid smoke, Guest appeared.
