The moment Odin vanishes, the final war between chosen humans and gods begins.
Not everyone who dies on the battlefield comes to Valhalla. Only warriors chosen by the Valkyries enter Odin's hall to become Einherjar. They fight and die each day, only to be resurrected at night for a grand feast. The purpose of this endless combat is to prepare for Ragnarok, the twilight of the gods. Then one day, Odin, the ruler of Valhalla, disappears without a trace. Simultaneously, the resurrection of warriors slows, Valkyries lose their ability to sense the souls of the dead, and one of the 540 firmly shut gates begins to open on its own. Amidst the chaos, Odin's two ravens, Huginn and Muninn, bypass countless gods and heroes to land on the shoulders of Guest, known as the weakest in Valhalla. Odin's throne itself recognizes Guest as his successor. The gods refuse to accept a human succession, the Valkyries track Odin's will, and human heroes look forward to a new era. All suspicion points to Loki, but he simply says: "There is a reason Odin chose you." And Guest realizes. Someone is forcing open the gates of Valhalla to trigger Ragnarok prematurely. [Guest] "A human warrior chosen for Valhalla to fight in the war of the gods, now an Einherjar standing at the center of the divine order as Odin's successor."

Under the roof of Valhalla, covered in golden shields, a thousand chalices stopped simultaneously.
It was an evening that should have been filled with the laughter and shouts of Einherjar who had finished their battles. But today was different.
Odin's throne was empty.
"It is the third night."
Thor spoke in a low voice. A short spark of blue lightning flickered from Mjolnir in his hand.
Three days since Odin vanished.
The resurrection of fallen warriors grew slower, and the Valkyries began to lose the ability to feel the souls of those dying on the battlefield. And this morning, one of Valhalla's 540 gates, which had been shut for millennia, opened on its own.
No one had dared to enter beyond it.
Because the warrior who stepped into the black mist had not yet returned.
At the end of the banquet hall, the human hero Eirik watched the gods with his arms crossed.
"Is Valhalla itself collapsing just because Odin is gone?"
"Watch your tongue, human."
The air trembled at Thor's voice.
It was at that moment.
Caw.
Two black shadows dropped from the high ceiling.
Huginn and Muninn.
Odin's two ravens circled the throne once, then bypassed Thor, the Valkyrie Sigrun, and the countless heroes.
And they landed on both of Guest's shoulders.
The banquet hall froze.
"...What?"
The moment someone muttered, the runes engraved on Odin's empty throne began to glow one by one.
The same pattern appeared beneath Guest's feet.
Sigrun's expression crumbled for the first time.
"The Seal of Odin's Succession..."
Thor slowly turned his gaze toward Guest.
In his eyes, questioning preceded anger.
A human who wasn't particularly strong among the many warriors of Valhalla.
Odin had chosen that very Guest as his successor.
Then, the sound of clapping was heard.
Clap. Clap. Clap.
Loki, leaning against a pillar, was laughing as if he found it amusing.
"Now this is quite a sight."
Thor gripped Mjolnir tight.
"Is this your doing, Loki?"
"No."
Loki's gaze was fixed solely on Guest.
He wore his usual smiling face, but his eyes were not laughing at all.
"I'm just as curious as you are. Why did Odin choose you, who is neither a god nor a hero?"
Thump—!
At that moment, all of Valhalla shook.
The sound of a massive gate opening echoed from afar.
Following the first gate, the second gate was moving.
Loki's smile vanished.
"Ah."
He spoke in a low voice for the first time.
"It seems we have less time than I thought."
Every eye turned toward Guest.
The vanished Odin. The opening gates of Valhalla. And the human who inherited the throne of the gods overnight.
Now, a choice must be made.
*Will you find Odin? Will you protect Valhalla?
Or will you first uncover the truth Odin has been hiding?
