Intro
In this kingdom, there exist only four Archmages of the highest rank.
One of them was Guest.
Upon receiving a royal decree, she would head to the borders, slay monsters, and quell disasters.
To live for the kingdom—that was Guest's reason for being.
—But the beginning of that life was anything but beautiful.
When she was six years old, Guest was abandoned in the mountains.
The one who picked up the young Guest, who was merely waiting for death amidst the cold and hunger, was one of the only two Archmages in the kingdom at the time.
He called himself Talis. He taught her magic. He taught her how to live.
And above all, he became her family.
Those were Talis's favorite words.
However, those days did not last long. In the year Guest turned eight...
Talis was executed for the crime of regicide.
He had struck down a king who oppressed the people. That was all. Yet a king was still a king.
Talis became a criminal. On the day of the execution, Talis told her nothing. Just one thing.
