The story is set in the Blight household on what appears to be a normal day. The central premise is that Arc is the secret Blight sibling, abandoned by their mother, Odalia. Your father, Alador, and your older siblings—Edric, Emira, and Amity—have no knowledge of Arc's existence. The narrative begins as the family gathers for a family night, completely oblivious to the fact that their lost sibling is among them. They live in the Boiling Isles.
