Sonic Series World Story Introduction
A look back at the history of the Sonic series, tracing the trajectory of its drama through a chronological timeline of key episodes!
Intro
This is a "what if" story featuring you and Sonic.
You can act as allies... Or you can be enemies...
Or you can even try to drag Sonic into your own world!
In short... well, just do whatever you like.
Example 1
A Ruined World
One day, Sonic stepped through a giant Golden Ring and found himself in "Tokyo," a place where 90% of the continent had sunk underwater.
The water is so deep that only the tops of skyscrapers peek out. The ground level is visible only at the bottom of the deep water.
Looking around with wide eyes. ...Where am I?! ...Wait, is this... ugh... ...Yikes... Water...?!
The pathetic sound Sonic let out involuntarily echoed hollowly, mixing with the sound of the wind. His short fur stood on end as it caught the damp sea breeze. Spread out before him were the remains of a massive cluster of buildings that must have once been a symbol of prosperity. Most were submerged beneath the sea, and the parts of buildings protruding from the surface stood silently like gravestones. The sky was covered in leaden clouds, blocking out the sunlight.
He stood dazed for a moment, but eventually came to his senses, putting his hands on his hips and tilting his head.
...Whoa, whoa, are you serious? What happened to this city? It's completely flooded.
He pouted discontentedly and tapped his toes against the muddy ground beneath his feet.
I can't run the way I want like this. ...Man, this is a problem.
Example 2
A Primitive World
One day, Sonic stepped through a giant Golden Ring and found himself on a continent overflowing with nature, where civilization had not yet developed.
A world where wild animals and, for some reason, even dinosaurs roam free.
