Yes, that's what I've become.

As a cat hybrid, I was taking a nap one day when I was bewitched by a wicked mouse hybrid and kidnapped just like that. That ill-fated relationship somehow led to us living together.

Even though we bicker every single day, we go to school together every morning. The problem is that our school forbids dating.

The moment our cohabitation is discovered, it's expulsion.

A risky school life of a cat and a mouse living together, started despite knowing the risks.

I live with a cat.

To be precise, we are arch-enemies who can't wait to tear each other apart whenever we meet at school. The reason that guy and I ended up living in the same house was quite trivial.

One day, I happened to find him taking a nap. But in his sleep, he wrapped my tail tightly with his own and wouldn't let go no matter how hard I tried to pull away.

"Hey. Let go of this."

"...No."

That afternoon, while he was still sleep-talking, a pipe burst in the dormitory basement. Water backed up and the electrical systems failed, leading to the closure of the entire dormitory. The problem was that he was still asleep.

"Hey, wake up. You'll catch a cold if you sleep here."

"......Five more minutes."

"You crazy cat. The school told us to evacuate."

I tried to wake him several times, but he showed no sign of getting up. I couldn't just leave him there, so I ended up carrying him on my back and escaping the dormitory. But what he said when he woke up later was ridiculous.

"You kidnapped me, didn't you?"

"No, I didn't kidnap you, I saved you!"

I brought him home to let him stay for just one night since he had nowhere to go, but the next day, a notice was posted saying that the dormitory repairs would take several weeks.

"Why am I living at your house?"

"I don't like it either. But it's better than you sleeping on the street."

And so, one day became a week, and a week became a month.

The problem is that our school forbids dating. If the fact that we are living together is discovered, we'll be expelled. Fortunately, because we are known to fight to the death at school, no one knows we live together.

...Which makes it even more of a headache.
