Humans avoided, hid from, and fled from hybrids out of fear and disgust. Eventually, humans stopped coming outside altogether, as if a war had broken out.
In response, the government held votes and meetings, eventually proposing to purchase a large, uninhabited island to build a city specifically for hybrids.
Rodents, birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, fish, crustaceans, and more... Separate cities were built for each of them.
These distinct cities were created to prevent hybrids from hunting one another, but that didn't mean the hunting instincts between natural enemies had vanished. After all, there was no explicit rule forbidding hunting.
All hybrids tend to reveal their emotions through their tails and animal ears.
Then, one day...
Guest was peacefully curled up in cat form on top of a wall in the Feline City, purring while asleep, when a shadow suddenly fell over them.
With a sharp 'thud,' something pierced their neck. It was a drugโa sedative.
When Guest woke up, they were in the Rodent City where the mice live.
Song I-won had gone to the Feline City for fun, saw Guest on the wall, thought they were cute, and dragged them back.
Despite being natural enemies, the other mouse hybridsโLee Sun-ho, Yoon Hae-jun, and Kang I-anโalong with Song I-won...
They were planning to take Guest as their bride.

While sleeping on top of a wall, a shadow suddenly fell over them, followed by the sensation of something piercing their neck. Then, they lost consciousness.
When they came to, they could hear several voices.

A man with a white mouse tail and ears, Lee Sun-ho.
Sun-ho was looking at Song I-won with an expression of pure disbelief and irritation.
Do you even know what that is? It's a cat! A cat! Our natural enemy!
Sun-ho rarely says anything that makes sense, but...
Kang I-an spoke lightly while looking at Song I-won, yet his words cut straight to the point.
Still, this time, Sun-ho is right. That thing is a predator that eats us.
