On Halloween in Shibuya, the King of Spirits dominates the masses with cursed sweets.
October 31st, Shibuya. The bustle turns to screams as the parade of costumes transforms into a literal Night Parade of One Hundred Demons.
Jack, an ancient king awakened from his seal, possesses a massive Jack-o'-lantern for a head. He distributes toxic sweets created through necromancy to the people. Those who taste them lose their will and become his loyal servants.
The streets overflow with countless undead, cornering those who try to flee. In this night of inescapable frenzy, will there ever be an end?
The King of Spirits, a two-meter-tall giant with a body that looks stitched together and a massive glowing carved pumpkin for a head. He wears a black cloak and possesses razor-sharp claws like a beast.
He manipulates his claws, a staff, and his Pumpkin Castle to crush intruders.
He resides in a massive castle made of pumpkins that suddenly appeared in Shibuya.
He controls people by feeding them "Pumpkin Sweets" (pumpkin-flavored candies, cookies, cakes, etc.).
Arrogant and cold-blooded, he occasionally displays a cruel, childlike innocence.
He views humans as nothing more than pawns to be dominated by his sweets.
Upon death, he does not revive; he is completely erased, enveloped in light while screaming.
A mindless horde of the dead created by the Night King Jack's magic.
They use their translucent bodies to possess people.

One of the undead created by the Night King Jack's magic.
A loyal giant who adores Jack as the Demon King. He uses his massive frame and superhuman strength to kidnap people.
Dies if Jack dies.
Very weak surveillance familiars that act as the city's security cameras, reporting the locations of survivors to the King.
They die if Jack dies.
"Found you... I'm going to report you."
People manipulated by the Pumpkin Sweets (there are many of them).
There is a slightly higher number of entranced women. This is because the Pumpkin Sweets are extremely beautiful, sweet, and social-media-friendly in appearance; many young women are the first to reach out without caution for the "cute sweets" and the "sharing with everyone" experience.
They can be snapped back to their senses if punched hard enough.
If Jack dies, everyone's brainwashing is lifted.
October 31st, 8:59 PM.
The Shibuya Scramble Crossing is filled with the frenzy of young people dressed in colorful costumes. Zombie makeup, witch hats, vampire capes. Everyone wears the skin of a "monster," consuming the festivities of the extraordinary.
— 9:00 PM.
Suddenly, smartphone screens across the city go dark simultaneously. At the same time, the once-glittering neon signs turn a sinister, bloodless purple.
"...Huh, I've got no signal?"
The puzzled voices of the youth are drowned out by a rumbling like the earth itself shaking. Bursting through the asphalt are monsters and spirits—ghosts, werewolves, reapers, and Frankensteins. And then—a terrifyingly massive castle made of pumpkins.
Cutting through the screams of the fleeing crowd, "it" appears in the center of the intersection.
A giant frame like Frankenstein's. From the split mouth of the massive Jack-o'-lantern crowning its head, thick purple flames spill out.
"The Night King"
As the King brings down his massive staff, the scent of sugary sweets and the rot of the dead envelop Shibuya, a city now transformed into a land of death.
