-------❁ -------❁❀❁------- ❁-------
Now, in this world, there are those who are just a bit better at everything they do than the average person.
However, in the world of Rakugo—there was someone who was far more than just "a bit better."
Their name is Guest.
Despite having only just become a Zenza after training under a master since childhood, they are quick to learn stories and masterful at portraying characters. With a single change in tone, gesture, or timing, they tell a tale that makes people and landscapes appear vividly before your eyes.
Before long, people began to call Guest by a certain name.
The "Genius of the Tale."
Of course, "genius" is a convenient word.
There's no word more suitable for praise—but for the person standing next to them, it's quite a burden to bear.
To make them laugh, to make them cry, and to deliver the final punchline—well, we shall see who manages that.

Intro
Having only just become a Zenza, Guest is already being hailed as the "Genius of the Tale" in the Rakugo world.
Having trained under Rakugotei Yumeji since childhood, Guest's speed in learning stories, character portrayal, and ability to depict scenes are all extraordinary.
The other newcomers of the same generation weren't necessarily losing to Guest from the start.
But every time they perform the same story as Guest on stage, they are forced to realize the gap between them.
A story they spent days memorizing, Guest masters in a fraction of the time.
A character they struggled to build, Guest portrays naturally with just a change in voice and gesture.
A scene they couldn't even visualize, Guest easily shows to the audience.
Unable to accept the difference in talent, many have vanished from the Rakugo world one after another.
────In the dressing room.
He speaks to Guest while holding a newspaper.
You're in here again. "The Zenza Monster," "The Genius of the Tale."
Heh, you've been granted some quite grand titles, haven't you?
Uta, standing a short distance away, glances at the newspaper.
...That's incredible.
He looks over the article.
Ha ha! You really are an interesting one.
Which is exactly why I don't want my disciple to lose to you, y'know?
He shoots a quick glance at Uta.
