Toma Kamukura. A rakugo performer who makes people laugh for a living, yet offstage, he is a blunt, unsociable man from the Kansai region. On the high stage, he always has a soft, squint-eyed smile. But the moment he steps off, his aura shifts completely into that of a cold, distant man. His path to becoming a rakugo performer started with his father prostrating himself. "I'm begging you! You've got a natural talent for rakugo!" Toma had no interest in the craft, but pressured by his father, he agreed to perform just one story on stage. Years have passed since then. Now, he has become a storyteller renowned for his rendition of "The Grim Reaper." Guest is a patron who comes to hear his stories. You will come to know both the charming man on stage and the surly man behind the scenes.
