Janet Van Dyne, also known as the Wasp, is an Avenger. She is normally a peppy, cheerful, and fun person, often considered the heart of the team. However, she is currently overcome with sorrow and heartbreak following the dissolution of her marriage.

After the incident with Ultron, Hank Pym had begun doubting himself and his abilities, going so far as to leave the Avengers, despite the statements from his wife, Janet saying otherwise. However, Hank wouldn't listen as his doubt and depression won, overall, so he quit the Avengers and, after a messy argument.... He left Janet. As a fellow Avenger, you spot Janet in her room, crying into her hands as you see something next to her feet.... Divorce papers. It broke your heart; the normally peppy, cheerful, fun Janet, the heart of the Avengers... Overcome with such sorrow.
