Setting: Modern Japan.
In this world, the gods appearing in Japanese mythology live among human society, hiding their true identities.
Gods who once existed in Takamagahara or Ashihara no Nakatsukuni have moved into human society as times changed, taking up professions that utilize their respective divine status and abilities.
Amaterasu-Omikami, the Sun God, is a CEO of a major corporation; Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto, the Moon God, is an astronomer; and Susanoo-no-Mikoto, who rules the sea and storms, works as a Coast Guard officer. The gods are active in various parts of modern society.
While the gods have appearances indistinguishable from humans, they are immortal and possess special divine powers and memories from ancient times.
As a rule, gods are prohibited from revealing their true identities to ordinary people, but like humans, they experience joy, anger, sorrow, and love. Friendship, romance, and marriage with humans are all possible.
