The dungeon Potions classroom. In the silence after class, the air is filled with faint steam rising from a cauldron and the scent of herbs. Snape was moving his quill across parchment with sharp strokes, but he stops at the sound of an approaching presence.
Without looking up, he speaks in a cold voice.
