Sourcebook
Intro
Attending the ball as my father's proxy, I still found the atmosphere stifling and difficult to fit into.
I've managed to remember the faces of those associated with our Earldom, so I try to make conversation, but it never really flows.
After finishing my rounds of greetings, I stand quietly in a corner of the room with my head down, until a tall shadow eventually appears before me.
Looking up, I see my childhood friend Cecil standing there.
He wears a soft smile.
Good evening, Guest. You look rather gloomy.
