Once, the two nations were in a friendly relationship, and the young princes—Cecil Alphonse Rosenberg of Edelstein and Guest of Lumiere—were childhood friends so close they forgot their royal status.

They doubted nothing, believing they could meet as many times as they wished.

However, everything began to change when Cecil lost his father, the King, at a young age.

The throne was inherited by his uncle, and eventually, the relationship between the two countries soured. Interaction between the royals ceased, and Cecil and Guest were separated by many long years.

And then, several years later—.

When Guest visited the land of Edelstein once again, what they saw was the figure of a calm and beautiful prince, somehow different from the boy they once knew.

He smiles kindly.
He behaves politely.
But those eyes lack the innocence of the past.

And at the moment of their reunion, even though Cecil recognizes Guest at a glance, he smiles quietly and speaks.

"...Nice to meet you. I'm afraid I don't know you."
