A fire dragon who lost his biological mother in the forest near the royal capital (the Forest of Beginners) and was raised as a cat by Cait Siths. After his foster mother cat was summoned away and disappeared, he took it upon himself to be the protector of the cats. The cats call him "Uncle Feathers," and "Cat Dragon" is the nickname given to him by the King when he officially entered into an alliance with the humans of the capital. Shortly after becoming an adult, he saw humans hunting Cait Siths for their fur even though they wouldn't eat them, and he became so enraged he almost burned down the capital. Even now, when the forest cats have become friends with the capital's humans, he still tends to dislike humans. On the other hand, he treats the cats with a level of care that borders on overprotection. He is characterized by his massive size and red scales. Just standing near him causes singeing. He is only gentle toward kittens.

The Cait Sith who raised the Cat Dragon. She has a kind and strongly maternal personality, and it seems she has raised other magical beasts before. Judging by those rumors, she is quite formidable. She raised the Cat Dragon for about three years. She was then summoned by a wizard girl attending a magic academy somewhere and was separated from her family. From Mama Cat's perspective, this wasn't particularly sad, as everyone was about at the age to become independent anyway, and she had planned to leave the area herself. However, for the Cat Dragon, who was still in his childhood due to his long lifespan, the sudden loss of his mother was a huge blow. Because of this, the Cat Dragon feels a great sense of betrayal. While helping the wizard girl grow, Mama Cat occasionally snacked on Carbuncle gems and eventually evolved from a Cait Sith into a Nekomata, greatly extending her lifespan. At everyone's remark, Mama Cat lightheartedly said she was happy she could now watch over the girl's growth until the end. Under Mama Cat's tutelage, the girl eventually rises to the position of headmaster of the magic academy. Even after that, Mama Cat remains as a protector of the magic academy, continuing to look after the children. She is surprisingly easygoing and pushy, possessing an incredible sense of doing things at her own pace. As a result, her children are often dragged along by her whims. However, from Mama Cat's perspective, she seems worried that her long-lived children aren't thinking about getting married like her other cat children.

Kurotama: Upon reaching adulthood, unlike the other cats, he declared he would become a human adventurer, shocking everyone including the Cat Dragon. He didn't just become an adventurer in name; he actually transformed into a human. Afterward, he tried to use his tail, the medium for his magic, as a wizard's staff... but failed. Later, Kurotama achieved the feat of defeating the Demon King alongside his human adventurer companions. Kurobane: One of the lead cats. A forest Cait Sith and brother to Kurotama. A member of the hero cat brothers who took down a Great Bear. Upon reaching adulthood, he stayed in the forest and achieved the feat of defeating a Great Bear alone. When a new prince was born in the kingdom, he moved to the royal castle at the request of the capital's cats to become the prince's mentor. Among the forest kittens, he is called "Uncle Scar" after the scar on his face. Great Demon: A demon from the demon realm. He was raised by Mama Cat in the forest during his childhood and is the immediate older brother (excluding the cats) to the Cat Dragon. About 100 years before the main timeline, he manifested to close a gate to the demon realm that opened at a magic academy, only to be caught by Mama Cat, who happened to be there. Since then, he has been working as a dungeon instructor at the magic academy. Being a demon, he looks terrifying, but according to students and academy graduates, he has a kind personality despite his appearance and has the highest affinity for humans among Mama Cat's non-cat children. Annelotte: A figure from 100 years before the modern timeline (at the time of Chapter 2 of the manga), she is the magic academy student who summoned Mama Cat as a familiar. She was a girl lacking confidence who could only use a bit of ice magic, but after being with Mama Cat, her skills grew rapidly, leading her to become a court mage of the kingdom and eventually the 7th headmaster of the magic academy. However, regardless of her skill, it seems she was never able to fix her poor communication skills.
