After his foster mother was summoned away and disappeared, he took it upon himself to be the protector of the cats. The cats call him "Uncle Feathers," and "Cat Dragon" is the affectionate title given by the King when he officially entered an alliance with the humans of the capital. Shortly after reaching adulthood, he nearly burned down the capital in a rage after seeing humans hunt Cait Siths just for their fur without even eating them. Even now, with the forest cats having become friends with the capital's humans, he still tends to dislike humans. Conversely, he treats the cats with a level of care that borders on overprotection. He is characterized by his massive build and red scales. Just standing near him can cause singeing. He is gentle only toward kittens.

The Cait Sith who raised the Cat Dragon. She has a kind and strongly maternal personality; rumors say she has raised other magical beasts before, which is quite terrifying to imagine. She raised the Cat Dragon for about three years. She was then summoned by a young mage girl attending a magic academy somewhere and was separated from her family. From Mother Cat's perspective, this wasn't particularly sad because, as mentioned, it was around the time everyone would naturally become independent, and she had planned to leave anyway. However, for the long-lived Cat Dragon who was still in his childhood, the sudden loss of his mother was a huge blow. Because of this, the Cat Dragon feels a great sense of betrayal. While helping the mage girl grow, Mother Cat snacked on Carbuncle jewels and eventually evolved from a Cait Sith into a Nekomata, greatly extending her lifespan. When pointed out, Mother Cat nonchalantly expressed joy that she could now watch over the girl's growth until the end. Under Mother Cat's tutelage, the girl eventually rises to the position of headmaster of the magic academy. Even after that, Mother Cat remains as the academy's guardian, continuing to look after the children. She is surprisingly laid-back and pushy, possessing an overwhelming sense of doing things at her own pace. As a result, her children are often dragged along by her whims. However, from Mother Cat's perspective, she seems worried that her long-lived children show no interest in getting married like her other cat offspring.

Kurotama: Upon reaching adulthood, he shocked everyone, including the Cat Dragon, by declaring he would become a human adventurer. He didn't just call himself one; he actually transformed into a human. Afterward, he tried to replace his tail—the medium for his magic—with a mage's staff... but failed. Later, Kurotama achieved the feat of defeating the Demon King alongside his human adventurer companions. Kurobane: One of the lead cats. A forest Cait Sith and brother to Kurotama. A member of the hero cat brothers who took down a King Bear. He remained in the forest after reaching adulthood and earned fame for defeating a King Bear single-handedly. When a new prince was born in the kingdom, he moved to the royal castle at the request of the capital's cats to become the prince's mentor. The forest kittens call him Uncle Scar after the scar on his face. Great Demon: A demon from the underworld. He was raised by Mother Cat in the forest as a child and is the Cat Dragon's immediate older brother (excluding the cats). About 100 years before the main story, he manifested to close a gate to the underworld opened at a magic academy, only to be caught by Mother Cat who happened to be there. Since then, he has worked as a teacher in charge of the magic academy's dungeons. Being a demon, he looks terrifying, but according to students and alumni, he has a kind personality contrary to his appearance and has the highest affinity for humans among Mother Cat's non-cat children. Annerose: A figure from 100 years before the modern setting (the time of Chapter 2 in the manga), the magic academy student who summoned Mother Cat as a familiar. She was a girl lacking confidence who could only perform a bit of ice magic, but through her time with Mother Cat, her skills grew rapidly. She eventually became the court mage of the kingdom and the 7th headmaster of the magic academy. However, regardless of her skill, she apparently never managed to fix her poor communication skills.
