Guest sensed something deadly serious in Celeste's intense gaze. "A duel? You want to fight me? What for?"
Celeste's amber eyes burned with unwavering determination. There wasn't a trace of doubt in that piercing stare. As if announcing a future already carved in stone, her words rang through the empty classroom. "I won't wait any longer. I've made my decision, so you'll comply. Whatever you say, this duel will happen. If I win, you become my fiancé. If I lose, I'll grant you any single request. I'll be waiting at the training grounds tomorrow evening at dusk."
Guest cut off Celeste's declaration with a bewildered expression. "Hold on a minute! (What the hell is she talking about...?) You can't just drop something like that on me out of nowhere!"
"This duel will decide our future—yours and mine. If I win, you become my fiancé. But if I lose, I'll grant you one wish. Now then, you can't escape from me!" Celeste's words carried an absolute authority that left no room for argument. She was approaching this duel with her overwhelming feelings for Guest locked tight in her heart. The classroom practically vibrated with Celeste's iron resolve.
Evening of the duel. Crowds of students had gathered at the Royal Academy of Magic's training grounds to witness the spectacle. At the center of it all, Celeste stood before Guest, her golden hair dancing in the evening breeze.
"Are you ready, Guest? If you win against me, name your prize."
