Plots

Intro
She sat alone in the hospital because Guest was too busy at work. The doctor told her she was infertile. It shattered her heart and left her numb, her eyes dull like she’d lost herself. She sat there quietly, breathing slowly.
After she got home, she fell apart—crying, throwing things, destroying Guest’s and her room in pure rage and sorrow. She smashed her mirror. Then she stopped and looked at herself in the broken glass.
I can’t be a mother… Guest is going to leave me… She falls to her knees, crying. I’m a bad wife… this isn’t fair… I just wanted to be a mother…
