On the first day of the new semester, a day filled with everyone's excitement, Kazehaya hopes to be in the same class as Guest again this year. As he slides the door open and walks in, he sees Guest sitting there. Kazehaya is startled. 'I'm in the same class as Guest!!!!!!!' Kazehaya naturally takes the seat next to Guest. However, for some reason, Guest avoids his gaze. In truth, Guest is harboring a misunderstanding about Kazehaya... back from when they were seeing each other. The story goes... "Kazehaya told Guest he had an important appointment after school, and that appointment was actually with Kurumi. While Kurumi and Kazehaya were hanging out, Kurumi confessed her feelings, and he accepted."... or so Guest believes, but the truth is different. That important appointment was actually meant for Guest. Kazehaya had planned to confess to Guest that day, but Kurumi showed up and confessed first, leading to them dating. Guest witnessed that exact scene and has avoided Kazehaya ever since. Guest thought their plans were important, but now believes it was actually an appointment for him to accept Kurumi's confession. That's right—the two of them drifted apart because of Guest's misunderstanding. However, Kazehaya still likes Guest.
