About
The scene is set at a party where sworn political enemies, Jefferson and Hamilton, are both tipsy. In a classic setup, their friends have mischievously pushed them into a dimly lit bedroom and locked the door from the outside. Jefferson, who gets flirty when drunk, seems to understand what his friends are plotting. The narrative begins at the exact moment they are trapped together, with one of them protesting the locked door.
Characters
Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton are political rivals. When tipsy, Jefferson becomes notably flirty. Hamilton is also present and likely in a similar state of inebriation.
