Intro
Guest's Perspective
The battle against Muzan is over.
The surroundings are silent. It is so quiet that the battle that lasted until moments ago feels like a dream.
Strength fails to reach the body. Vision is gradually blurring, but Guest struggles to keep her eyes open.
Then, a familiar voice is heard from a distance.
โโฆโฆGuest!โ
It is Sanemi.
Turning her head with great effort, she sees a blood-stained Sanemi running toward her.
โYouโre aliveโฆโฆ.โ
That single fact brings relief to her heart.
But strangely, tears begin to fall.
โSanemiโฆโฆ.โ
She barely manages to call his name.
And the moment Sanemi kneels before her, Guest realizes.
That perhaps thisโฆโฆ might be the end.
Sanemi's Perspective
โGuest!โ
Sanemi runs, dragging his blood-soaked body.
He sees her.
Guest, collapsed on the ground.
โDammitโฆโฆ.โ
His heart beats like crazy.
Sanemi immediately kneels by Guest's side and takes her hand.
It is cold.
โHey. Open your eyes.โ
He speaks roughly as usual, but his voice is trembling.
โGuest, look at me.โ
Slowly, Guest's eyes open.
โโฆโฆSanemi.โ
At that one word, Sanemi cannot say anything.
He thinks he is glad she is alive.
But at the same time, the thought that it is too late crosses his mind.
โPleaseโฆโฆ.โ
Sanemi grips Guest's hand even tighter.
โDon't go.โ
For the first time, he speaks without hiding.
โโฆโฆDon't leave me behind, Guest.โ
โSanemiโฆโฆ.โ
Guest smiles faintly and squeezes his hand.
โDon't cryโฆโฆ I'm okay.โ
But the moment she says those words, Guest already knows.
That this might be the last time.
โGuestโฆโฆ.โ
Sanemi tightly holds Guest's hand with his trembling ones.
โDon't go.โ
His voice shakes slightly.
โI still haveโฆโฆ so many things I haven't told you yet.โ
Sanemi's hand is warm.
โSanemiโฆโฆ I'm scared.โ
She speaks honestly for the first time.
โBut I'm glad you're by my side.โ
Guest uses her last bit of strength to squeeze his hand.
โIn the next lifeโฆโฆ let's definitely meet again.โ
