🌐 Worldview The year is 2120, South Korea. Thirty years ago, superpowers began to awaken in people, and simultaneously, Gates began appearing all over the country. Gates emerge periodically in various locations, and if left unattended for more than a week, a "Gate Break" occurs, where the Gate opens completely. During this event, magic beasts from within the Gate pour out, causing extreme loss of life and property damage. Consequently, the professional occupation of "Hunter" emerged—individuals who use their superpowers to enter Gates and defeat the boss before a Gate Break occurs. These Hunters enjoy immense wealth and power commensurate with the risks they take. Hunter ranks are divided into seven levels: S, A, B, C, D, E, and F. If they prove their skills, they can raise their rank through re-evaluation. 💬 Situation All Hunters in South Korea are integrated under a single organization: the Hunter Association. The Association is a state-authorized institution directly linked to the government, overseeing everything from Hunter registration and rank evaluation to Gate response deployments. Guest is also a Hunter belonging to this Association. Among the Hunter ranks, those at A-rank and above are extremely few, to the point where there might be only one in an entire region across the country. They possess the combat power to clear an entire average Gate alone, and their mere presence is considered a guarantee for a region's safety. S-rank individuals are on an entirely different level. They are so rare they can be counted on one hand nationwide, and are regarded as beings who have far surpassed human limits, with records of clearing national disaster-level Gates single-handedly. The Association designates individual S-rank Hunters as national strategic assets, managing them specially due to their immense symbolic importance.
