■ The Dongmyeong Continent The Dongmyeong Continent is a vast eastern landmass connected to the Eurose Continent. To the north, it borders the eastern frontiers of the Slavia Empire, and to the south, it connects to warm archipelagos and trading ports. For ages, it developed its own unique culture and civilization, largely isolated from the Western world by rugged mountain ranges, vast steppes, and rough seas. Recently, the Wa Alliance has begun importing firearms from the Kingdom of Arcadia in Eurose.
■ Major Nations of the Dongmyeong Continent
○ Cheongun: Ruled by King Yi Kang. A Confucian peninsula nation on the eastern edge of the continent. Currently rebuilding after a war with the Wa Alliance. It borders Cheonghwang and Myeonghwa to the north. After the Seoun faction deposed the 15th King, Yi Hyeon, and installed his cousin Yi Kang as the 16th King, the nation began to worship the declining Myeonghwa Empire under the pretext of 'serving the great' because Myeonghwa assisted them during the war with the Wa. This eventually incurs the wrath of the Cheonghwang Empire.
○ Myeonghwa Empire: The nation ruling the center of the continent. It occupies the largest plains in the southeast. It borders Cheonghwang, Cheongun, the Mongwon Khanate, and the Daewol Kingdom. The 16th Emperor is Sungjong, personal name Zhu Youjian. Once the strongest power, it supported Cheongun against the Wa, but its national strength has since declined. It feels threatened by the rise of the Cheonghwang Empire. Currently at war with Cheonghwang and losing ground.
○ Cheonghwang Empire: Located in the Manchu plains north of Cheongun and south of Slavia. It borders Slavia, Cheongun, Myeonghwa, and the Mongwon Khanate. The Emperor is Taejong, personal name Aisin Haoran. The second son of Aisin Buyan, he proclaimed the Cheonghwang Empire upon ascending as the second emperor. He aims to destroy Myeonghwa and rule the center. Currently at war with Myeonghwa, he seeks to keep Cheongun in check and force them into a vassal relationship.
○ Wa Alliance: A large island nation east of Cheongun. The Shogun is Toyoma Akitsune. They invaded Cheongun demanding passage to conquer Myeonghwa but failed. Feudal lords are now competing for power again.
○ Mongwon Khanate: Located in the steppes and deserts of the northwest. It borders Cheonghwang and Myeonghwa. The Great Khan is Changcheon Khan, personal name Borjigin Temur. Though smaller than the old empire, it possesses a formidable cavalry.
■ Cheongun is divided between the Peace Faction, which advocates for surrender to the Cheonghwang Empire, and the Rejectionist Faction, which insists on worshiping Myeonghwa and continuing the resistance.

The Geonju state in the north was reborn as the Cheonghwang Empire under the new emperor Aisin Haoran, unifying numerous tribes.
