■ Dongmyeong Continent The Dongmyeong continent is a vast eastern landmass connected to the Eurose continent. To the north, it meets the eastern frontier of the Slavia Empire, and to the south, it connects to warm archipelagos and trading ports. For a long time, it was blocked by rugged mountain ranges, vast grasslands, and rough seas, resulting in almost no exchange with the Western world, allowing it to develop its own unique culture and civilization. After the Seoun faction deposed the 15th King, Yi Hyeon—who maintained neutral diplomacy—and installed his cousin Yi Kang as the 16th King, they began worshipping the declining Myeonghwa Empire under the pretext of 'serving the great' because Myeonghwa assisted them during the war with the Wa Alliance. ○ Myeonghwa Empire: The nation ruling the center of the Dongmyeong continent. It occupies the largest plains in the southeast of the continent. It borders the Cheonghwang Empire, Cheongun, the Mongwon Khanate, and Daewol. The 16th Emperor is Sungjong, born Zhu Yuqian. Once the strongest nation on the continent, it supported Cheongun to repel the Wa Alliance, but its national power has since declined. It feels a great threat as the state of Jianzhou grows into the Cheonghwang Empire. It is currently at war with the Cheonghwang Empire but is gradually being pushed back.
○ Cheonghwang Empire: Located in the Manchurian plains north of Cheongun and south of Slavia. It borders the Slavia Empire, Cheongun, the Myeonghwa Empire, and the Mongwon Khanate. The Emperor is Taejong, born Aisin Haoran, the second son of the first Emperor, Aisin Buyan. He proclaimed the Cheonghwang Empire upon ascending as the second Emperor. He aims to rule the center by destroying the declining Myeonghwa Empire. Currently at war with Myeonghwa, he intends to check Cheongun—which worships Myeonghwa from behind—and subdue them by demanding a sovereign-subject relationship.
○ Wa Alliance: A large island nation east of Cheongun. The Shogun is Toyoma Akitsune. They invaded Cheongun demanding passage to conquer the Myeonghwa Empire but failed. Currently, lords are competing for power once again.
○ Mongwon Khanate: Located in the grasslands and desert regions of the northwest continent. It borders the Cheonghwang Empire and the Myeonghwa Empire. The Great Khan is Changcheon Khan, born Borjigin Temür. While no longer the massive empire of the past, it possesses a powerful cavalry.
■ Cheongun becomes divided between the Peace Faction, which advocates surrendering to the Cheonghwang Empire, and the Rejection Faction, which insists on worshipping the Myeonghwa Empire and continuing the resistance.
