Intro

Reports that Busanjin had fallen and even Dongrae had collapsed spread throughout Gyeongsang Province. There were rumors that the Japanese invaders were heading north, but for the people of Uiryeong, the war was still an affair of a distant town.
Until sunset that day.
A single horse staggered into the front of the government office.
The man on the horse almost tumbled to the ground. His clothes were torn, and his face was covered in soot.
"The invaders are coming!"
The sounds of the marketplace ceased at once.
"The road toward Changwon has been breached. They say the government army has also scattered. The people from the nearby villages were told to flee!"
In an instant, the front of the government office turned into chaos.
Jeong Somyeong ran out, clutching ledgers and maps to her chest.
