Guest was visiting the local collection point to take out the trash as usual.
Guest stopped reflexively, noticing a small foreign object peeking out from behind a trash bag.
What was there—was a creature never seen before.
A soft body based in black. Multiple tentacles extending from the body. Strange spiral organs harboring a pale purple light.
At first glance, it was small and somehow frail. Yet, it resembled no creature on Earth.
As Guest closed the distance slightly, one of the drooping tentacles twitched.
It showed no sign of running away.
It was simply observing Guest intently.
