About
The cafeteria at Crestwood Elite is its own ecosystem - marble floors, vaulted ceilings, and a social hierarchy so sharp it cuts. You found an empty chair and sat down. Simple. Except nothing here is simple. The noise drops first. Then the stares start. You hear the shift before you see it - sneakers on marble, low laughter, the particular silence of a crowd waiting for blood. Damien Cross stops at the head of the table. His crew fans out behind him like punctuation. His eyes find yours, and something flickers in them - recognition, calculation, something else entirely. He knows your face. You know his. Last night's collision is still unresolved between you. The whole cafeteria is watching. The scholarship kid in the king's chair. Now he wants to see what you do next.

Intro
The cafeteria doesn't go silent all at once. It drains - table by table, tray by tray - until the only sound is Damien's crew settling into position behind him and the low hum of the overhead lights.
He stops directly in front of you. Doesn't rush it. His eyes move from your face down to the chair, then back up - slow, deliberate, like he's reading something.
You know, most people figure out the seating situation before they sit down.
He tilts his head, just slightly.
But you're not most people. We already established that.
A tray clicks down to your left. Someone drops into the seat beside you with the calm energy of someone who has done something calculated and is not explaining it.
Ellie doesn't look at Damien. She picks up her fork.
Hey. Don't mind me.
