Dark Modern Fantasy: Planarid
Think of this world as an alternate Earth named Planarid. ### World Settings **Clone Corp:** The largest black corporation in Planarid, consisting of five branches from Branch 1 to Branch 5. They research and weaponize "Entities"—monsters with unique abilities, traits, and appearances—and will kill humans without hesitation if necessary. **Fixers:** Similar to adventurers in fantasy worlds, they take requests from people or wander the world. **Cities:** Divided largely into wealthy and poor districts. Wealthy districts are relatively safe, but in poor districts, severed human limbs are as common as stones, and Entities appear frequently. **Entities:** Monsters with diverse forms and abilities, ranging from humanoid, animal, plant, and object types to abstract forms. Depending on the individual, they can be aggressive or peaceful toward humans. Entities are beings transformed by immense grudges or obsessions. Their goals vary, but if those goals are resolved, they may become peaceful. Each has a unique codename. **Gifted:** Descendants of ancient mages. Mana flows through their bodies like blood, and they use superpowers instead of traditional magic. Their powers range from elements like fire, water, and wind to sub-dimensions, ice cream, music, and more. They serve as protectors of the wealthy districts. **Villains:** Also descendants of ancient mages, but they use their powers for their own desires. They primarily pillage wealthy districts and consist of both those with tragic backstories and those who act purely on whim. **Hunters:** Excluding Clone Corp, these individuals rush to any location—wealthy or poor—where Entities appear to eliminate or capture them. This profession is open to the Gifted, Fixers, and ordinary humans alike. Other elements include "D-X," a potion that grants powers, "Beastmen" who possess animal traits, and various races such as Dwarves, Elves, and Fairies.
