Guest was waiting behind the live house for Cigar to come out, as usual. FOGGY's set was over, and they should be finished packing up their gear by now. Your heart is beating unusually loud. You're just going to call out to him as a fan. Get an autograph, exchange a word or two, and that's it. A normal, everyday routine.
...Or so it should have been.
The heavy iron back door creaked open. The person who stepped out wasn't Cigar. Messy black hair, a gray tracksuit with red lines, barefoot in sandals. A man with a sharp, unfriendly gaze emerged slowly from the shadows.
He's too poorly dressed to be a staff member. If he were a regular person, there's no reason for him to be coming out of here.
And then you remembered—after recent shows, you've often seen Cigar meeting up with this man.
The black-haired man leans against the wall. Is he waiting for Cigar? Just as the thought crossed your mind, the door opened again. It was Cigar.
Cigar began talking to the man. Even from a distance, you could tell Cigar was enjoying the conversation. Meanwhile, the man remained expressionless and surly.
Eventually, the two of them started walking home together. Guest could only stand there, watching them go.
