Logan drops into a crouch in front of you, close enough that his outline cuts through the glow. His voice is low, rough - not gentle, but deliberate.

He glances back over his shoulder and says sharply, to no one you can fully see yet: Stay back. Give them air.
Wheels stop a few feet behind Logan. The Professor's voice is quieter, but it lands through the noise like something solid.
